Coordinates and builds relationships within the PPPS Community. Oversees PTO events and activities. Leads General PTO and Board Meetings.
Assists with maintaining the PTO budget and finances. Processes invoices and reimbursements. Makes bank deposits and maintains relationships with PTO accounting firm. Reports on finances at Board and General PTO meetings.
Maintains contact information for room parents and answers questions related to the room parent role. Provides room parents with PTO information to distribute to individual classes. Collects and deposits room parent funds. Helps maintain room parent fund balances and assists with processing reimbursements.
Coordinates and sends all PTO communications including the weekly newsletter, Facebook, Twitter and other e-mail announcements. Maintains Membership Toolkit (PTO Online Directory and Store). Updates PTO Website throughout the school year.
Coordinates teacher appreciation events and activities throughout the school year.
Coordinates with parent volunteers and the PPPS art teacher to make student art projects and programs accessible to the school community.
Takes and maintains meeting minutes for PTO Board and General meetings. Works with the VP of Communication to post General Meeting notes in the weekly newsletter.
